Whether that means hiking in the wilderness, walking in mindfulness or just taking a stroll through your local city park walking has an immense capacity to heal.

NOTE: This is not the original Healing Walk site that was hosted on healingwalk.org. In honour of that tradition, we've provided a bit of history below.
Healing Walk was a walk that indigenous communities in Alberta organized to honour the treaties and raise awareness of the environmental injustice and human rights violations that are happening in their province (and throughout Turtle Island) as a result of tar sands expansion and oil pipelines.
